Ensuring the health & safety of our members
Government guidelines state that we are still required to socially distance ourselves and the children, and whilst this may seem a little strange for a drama class, we have facilitated lots of workshops in this way over the past 9 months and they have been highly enjoyable and beneficial. We have many great drama activities and games that work well and will help build confidence, communication, language, and performance skills.
Once your place has been confirmed you will be sent out further information specific to your child’s session with information with drop off and pick up details, as well as information that you can share with your child so that know what to expect.
The CYT Team
We’re delighted to be able to restart our CYT sessions, and are planning (in conjunction with the Court Theatre), to be able to return to our one-off theatre experience days, our main scale productions and our CYT summer programmes. The first step is to get the weekly sessions back up and running. These sessions will be run by Julia Clark. For those of you who don’t know Julia already, Julia has worked in Youth Theatre with Young people and children for over 20 years, and has directed many Youth Theatre productions at The Court Theatre.
Julia lives in Tring, and her own children attend the local schools. Julia has been part of the CYT team for many years now, and after a short break from CYT whilst her children were very young, we are delighted to have Julia back doing what she loves in her local community.
Julia has amazing energy and passion for youth theatre and will bring fun and creativity to these sessions. Julia will be supported by a team of peer leaders, who themselves have been through the CYT experience as younger children and are a valued addition to our offering.
We look forward to welcoming you and your children back to our CYT sessions. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.
